ANNUAL HALL REUNION 2018
The Badock Hall Association held its second annual reunion event on Saturday 14th July 2017. We were delighted to have as guest of honour Professor Emeritus Peter Barham. His interests in food physics and penguins provided the assembled guests with an extremely entertaining foray into the physics of cooking and answered some long-standing questions relating to the simplest of cookery habits and traditions.
The event started with a drinks reception in the Warden's Garden at Wills Hall, where guests from all three reunion dinners were able to meet and enjoy a glass of prosecco or juice whilst catching up with friends from around the University. This was followed by a delicious three-course dinner with coffee, held for the very first time in the Senior Common Room of Badock Hall itself.
The BHA committee is grateful for the support of the guests who were able to attend the Reunion, several of whom travelled from afar, and would like to express particular gratitude to Charles Gunter – Deputy Warden of Badock Hall and Chair of the Wills Hall Association – for his vision and hard work in making this event come to pass.
